PyCurl Install not successful

While trying to install pycurl in my system (MAC OS X), I am getting the following error. No idea how to solve it. Please help !!!

Try to use:

# sudo env ARCHFLAGS="-arch i386 -arch x86_64" pip install pycurl

But before that, install Xcode. Now it's free.

Perhaps you should try installing gcc-4.2?

This might work, depending on whether or not you actually have gcc-4.2 installed.

cd /usr/bin
ln -s gcc gcc-4.2

If that doesn't do the trick (you don't have a valid version of gcc), you will need to install gcc-4.2 which comes with the Apple developer tools

You can also type gcc at the command line to see which versions you have installed.
