PostgreSQL WAL into mountain

it's more or less a simple yes or no question...

Can I configure PostgrSQL to WAL into a swiss cave somewhere in the alps and WAL localy at the same time?

If yes, can you set some soft time goal how long commits can be batched togeth开发者_开发知识库er before they are flushed into the mountain? Having tonnes of single tcp ping pong stuff might not be so efficent?
