How to define a variable in the suite config file in FitNesse

how to define a variable in FitNesse´ suite config file which then can be used within the Fit开发者_JS百科Nesse tests? I´m looking for an equivalent to define a variable via !define MY_VAR {some value}

• With !define on the current page
• With !define on any ancestor page
• In the system.properties file
• As environment variables
• As a -D argument at the command line.

Taking that list to the next step, I would ask:

• why do you want these values in a suite config file?
• What do you mean by a suite config file?
• What is your ultimate goal?
